Generations Escrow is an independent escrow company licensed in the State of California. We are subject to the rigorous procedural and trust accounting audits which the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) has maintained for decades. These requirements include regular, unannounced, in-person audits by the DFPI as well as an annual audit by an independent accounting firm.

We require our technology providers to maintain AICPA SOC 2 Type II compliance. Our datacenters must be able to demonstrate physical and logical security controls to an external team of professional auditors.

Generations Escrow maintains its own exacting internal protocols, review, and audit processes. We have long-assumed the highest standard of care according to the traditional level of best practices of the DFPI and counsel for the American Escrow Association.
