Erin Bishop is President of Generations Escrow Corporation and has spent four decades in the escrow industry. She started in the business at age 21 as a courier and receptionist, when she knew very little about escrow and had no idea she had just discovered a career that would shape much of her life.

Erin learned the business from the ground up, becoming an escrow assistant and eventually an Escrow Officer. After managing a high-volume desk for many years, she became increasingly interested in leadership and began pursuing opportunities in management where she could contribute more broadly to the company. She went on to serve as a Branch Manager, Director of Major Accounts, and Vice President of Operations, giving her a deep understanding of nearly every aspect of the escrow business. In 2011, she was named President of Heritage Escrow, which had grown to become the largest independent escrow company in Southern California. She served in that role through 2014.

In 2015, Erin helped launch Generations Escrow Corporation with a vision of creating a truly independent escrow company known as much for how it supports its people as for the service it provides. The perspective she gained over the years reinforced her belief that a strong company culture begins with the people doing the work and with decisions made by those who understand the unique demands of the escrow profession.

Erin’s experience continues to shape the way she leads Generations today. Creating opportunities for others has always been especially meaningful to her. Having started in an entry-level position herself, she takes particular pride in recognizing potential, helping people grow, and seeing them achieve career goals they may not have imagined for themselves. She is equally passionate about introducing the next generation to an industry that has meant so much to her and so many others, giving them the chance to learn the business and discover for themselves how rewarding escrow can be.
